I have four children, ages 8 to 3, and this is their hands-down favorite Christmas book. Well, perhaps, of all time book. Each page has tons of in rank for children to notice and find – even as an adult, I seem to find new gear every time we read it. And thankfulness to this book, they are learning all the words of the song.

  • Hilary Knight's Twelve Days Of Christmas tells of a bear who struggles with a glut of celebration gifts from her lover. Quirky animals parade in every scene as poor Bedelia struggles with a house everlastingly full of odd gifts. The illustrations are especially variable.

I particularly like the way Bedelia returns "right" like of his beloved gift-giver to make a honest for him to delight in – like is mutual in this book! The second thing I like about this book is the plot, in which the raccoon struggles to open the mysterious can, only to find a right like of his. Irrevocably, the plotting of every day as a pick-up ", in which Benjamin brings a partridge and a pear tree (and gifts later) to * every day *, adds a new dimension to the tale. well plotted, perfectly executed, and the version of the best children's depiction book "The 12 Days of Christmas" that I saw.
