This is probably one of the best quilting magazines you can buy! I look forward to receiving this magazine in the mail every problem! E 'loaded with great articles and hundreds of models – all with a great variety. This magazine has models for all levels and all types of Quilters (appliquers, piecers hand, machines Quilters Etc. …)

This is one of my favorite quilting magazines, especially (but not only) for beginners. There is almost always something I want to turn every question that is not the case with most quilting magazines I pick up. I love the alternative design / color schemes for each project. Fons & Porter is another good choice.

I subscribed to American Patchwork Quilting magazine for over a year, and to be honest I found it mediocre. Projects seem to be designed for people with 'high end' sewing machines and there are way too appliqué projects, advertising and modern looking for quilting projects. I am a Quilter intermediate, and most of these quilts are A: B too easy, really complex or C: too contemporary. There seems to be no middle ground and some projects for people who love to make quilts that are more traditional looking. Actually this issue (October), has a great article for some textile designer who is not even on quilting or piecing. Bleh. For this price you would expect less ads, more blocks, and projects a more traditional piecer might enjoy. 2 stars.

I found American Patchwork and Quilting to be among the best quilting magazines. I love every problem. The articles are informative and patterns are simply wonderful. Not all aspects will appeal to all readers, but this comes close.

From what I found. . editor needs more experience. Having a grandmother makes a quilt a Quilter expert
