  1. I have four children, ages 8 to 3, and this is their hands-down favorite Christmas book. Well, perhaps, of all time book. Each page has tons of information for children to notice and find – even as an adult, I seem to find new things every time we read it. And thanks to this book, they are learning all the words of the song.

  2. Hilary Knight's Twelve Days Of Christmas tells of a bear who struggles with a glut of holiday gifts from her lover. Whimsical animals parade in every scene as poor Bedelia struggles with a house always full of odd gifts. The illustrations are especially capricious.

  4. I loved the work of Hilary Knight since I was a child his party on ABC * Hilary Knight. * * In his Twelve days of Christmas, "Knight provides an interpretation of original and significant traditional songs. I particularly like the way Bedelia returns "true" love of his beloved gift-giver to make a fair for him to enjoy – love is mutual in this book! The second thing I like about this book is the plot, in which the raccoon struggles to open the mysterious can, only to find a true love of his. Finally, the concept of every day as a pick-up ", in which Benjamin brings a partridge and a pear tree (and gifts later) to * every day *, adds a new dimension to the story. well planned, beautifully executed, and the version of the best children's picture book "The 12 Days of Christmas" that I saw.

  5. E 'Natale, and Benjamin Bear looks out the window and down the path to his beloved house Bedelia Bear, and you can almost see the gift ideas popping in hairy head. Thus, the first day of Christmas, comes with a partridge in a pear tree, and the fun begins. . . . . Hilary Knight, author of "Where's Wallace and The Owl And The Pussy-Cat, and illustrator of Kay Thompson's Eloise books, believes that this old song family holidays, and turns it into a book joyful and engaging photos. His wonderful work of art, full of bold, bright color and expressive detail, it grows more popular and more intricate with every turn the page, until it almost spills off the paper. Young and old alike will be mesmerized as pore over the photos, find something new and fun every time they open the book. With a pleasant surprise and creative in order to get all in the spirit of holiday, Hilary Knight's The Twelve Days of Christmas is a wonderful read-aloud book the whole family can share together, and is sure to become a "must have" classic Help usher in the holiday season, year after year.
